The Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF) is more than an event—it’s a celebration of innovation, discovery, and community. Behind the scenes, Team UV, the fair’s dedicated organizing committee, works tirelessly to create an unforgettable experience for participants, visitors, and volunteers alike.
Who we're looking for
Join the dream team
Team UV is the dedicated group behind the scenes, working alongside Youth Science Canada staff to plan and execute every detail of CWSF. These positions involve a commitment in the months leading up to the fair and require full availability on-site from May 29–June 7, 2025.
Open Positions for CWSF 2025:
- French Services Coordinator: Assist onsite with creating a welcoming environment for French-speaking participants and support translation needs during the event.
- Participant Experience Support: Help develop programming for delegates, create orientation presentations, and ensure an inclusive, fun event for all.
- Accessibility Support: Provide support for participants with accessibility needs, including sensory spaces, mobility access, and dietary accommodations.
- School Visits and STEM Expo Team: Support the School Visits and STEM Expo Manager with exhibitor coordination and teacher registration during school visit days.
- Sponsorship Coordinator: Work with the Executive Director to ensure all sponsorship deliverables are met.
- Ambassadors: CWSF alum, aged 20-25yrs old, work closely with the finalists and other visitors to ensure an unforgettable experience for all. Learn more here.
If selected, travel and accommodations will be covered. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and successful candidates will be contacted for further discussion.
